If you still want to get at me about guest appearing on your album and this half price verse sale fits your budget better than the normal $500 rate, don’t sleep. Get at me . gregowens@comcast.net
I’m running this promotion so I can have a quick influx to take care of some studio upgrades. Next week will be too late. If you’re interested and want to make it happen, hit us up.
peace,
Manchild
As of right now, 2 of these guest spots have already been purchased, leaving only 2 Slots open. I’m running this sale through tomorrow (Friday, the 23rd) or when the other 2 verses are sold, whichever comes first.
I’ve had a very good response, so if you want to get me on your record, now is the time. Once these two half price verses are sold, it’s back to the full $500 rate.
Thanks so much,
Manchild
Peace Party People,
I’m caught up writing my guest spots. I’m recording my last couple next week. I’m updating my studio and am looking to buy a couple of pieces of equipment.
To fund my studio expansion, I’m offering 4 Verses for 1/2 price. This is a first come, first served sale, and I’ll be selling 4 only. If you’ve heard my guest appearances, you know that I come correct and give you everything you’d expect from a Manchild or DS5 guest shot.
Normal rate is $500, so the 1/2 price, discounted rate for these verses is $250 Each.
Don’t sleep, because these will be taken very quickly.
If you’re an artist, crew or group who’s interested, please e-mail gregowens@comcast.net or message me here for details.
Thanks for your time, and for some of you, I look forward to working with you.
peace,
Manchild

The Blueprint 3 Outtakes
Deepspace5 Version
Deepspace5 is the future. 10 members strong. Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop.
On Thursday, September 17th, just over a week ago, a couple of the DS5 emcees ran across a guerilla style free release by a very talented up and coming producer named Alex Goose. You can learn more about Alex and his work at his website: alexgoose.com. You can download his release by visiting theblueprint3outtakes.com.
With a fierce work ethic and a very small amount of time on their hands, 5 members of Deepspace5 decided to record and release, free to the world, their interpretations, their rhymes over these tracks. The views and concepts in this free mixtape release do not reflect the views of Alex Goose.
If you like what you hear, Deepspace5 has two albums available through itunes.com as well as their entire catalog through BandCamp.com. The crew also has a third studio full length album recorded and mixed, and are poised to make their next move.
We hope you enjoy what we’ve done with these tracks for this mixtape. We’re sure that other artists will release similar mixtapes to this one in the weeks to come. But this, party people, is the Blueprint 3 Outtakes…Deepspace5 Version.

Thursday night here in Atlanta, Red Bull sponsored a brand new, unique event. 10 MC’s were invited to compete. Contestants were flown in from out of state to broaden the field. The idea? Have an MC competition based in freestyle that wasn’t a battle. Pushing the creative envelope in this genre, Red Bull put on a stellar event at the Masquerade in Atlanta to an overflowing capacity crowd of 1000 people.
The contestants were shown flashes of images on the many screens around the stage, then were challenged to freestyle and touch on those images. Judged by Adeem, Talib Kweli and 9th Wonder, the event was a big success.
At the end of the night, Manchild walked away with the title, $1000 in prize money and a day in the studio with 9th Wonder later this year.
Thankful for the opportunity.

Had a great time at Cafe CoCo in Nashville on Saturday. Peace to Spoken Nerd and all involved with the Holla.
I’ll tell you, the past two shows I’ve done, Charleston and Nash have boasted two of the better soundman experiences I’ve come across at bars and venues. I could hear everything perfectly and the system was perfect for the room.
I hadn’t seen Spoken Nerd perform in years, but I have to say, “I love the Police” was the funniest song I’ve heard in a long time. Respect. Also peace to Quiet Entertainer and James Fate. James brought people into the building without question, and playing to a full room is better than not.
Also, tons of merch love the past two shows. Thank you, and I’m sorry for running out of most everything. I’ll do my best to have a good inventory of CD’s in Chicago Friday night, although Shirts will be a no go, unfortunately. I’m working on that.
Me and DJ IPOD are looking at coming to your city soon too, so hit me up at gregowens@comcast.net for all Manchild and Mars ILL booking opportunities.
peace,
Manchild
